The Art of Saying Yes! with Kristen Truong

May is Asian American-Native Hawaiian-Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Month! The ASAE AANHPI Group asked Radio Free 501c to participate in recognizing members of this group who are part of the nonprofit management profession. Of course we said yes and we are kicking it off in April with Kristen Truong, Vice President of Public Affairs, Association of Schools Advancing Health Professionals, and the Art of Saying Yes! Kristen says yes to new experiences and learning in order to practice her passion. That's right -- she reminds us that anything we do takes practice; we have to commit time and energy to finding out what works for us and what doesn't. We also discuss volunteering and how we can help volunteers say yes, or help them realize sometimes they need to say no. Kristen shares some updates about the AANHPI Group activities and the exciting things they have planned. Don't miss this excellent conversation with a leader in our profession who isn't afraid to say yes. What do you say yes to? Share a comment!
