A DEI Story featuring Samyuktha Neeraja

We all have a story. Our lives are unique and we all need different things to thrive and survive. We also need to be sensitive to the individual needs of others. This week, I talked with Samyuktha Neeraja, State Associations Relations Manager II, American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA), about her journey through the world. Using a DEIA lens, she shares her story starting with her move to the United States from India as a baby, how her family assimilated into US living, her identity as a person from India, and how she navigates a world designed for the average person when she is a person with Dwarfism. Our candid discussion will open your eyes to the need to be sensitive to how others see the world, and by doing so, we will make the world a better place for all of us.
